Did you get your sweat on today?

Woke up today. 
Heard on the weather report that there would be a 90% chance of rain. 
But wait...we had clear skies and sunshine? whaaaat? 
So I tweeted that how could we have RAIN, when the sun was out. 
Little did I know. 
12 o'clock sunshine...4 o'clock RAIN! 
I was about to NOT go to the gym. But I did. 
I've been eating super healthy lately (besides the all you can eat sushi for jasstins bday) 
Anyway...got my sweat flowing today. Had a productive hour workout. 
That's all I needed. 
Time to study study study. 
Did YOU get YOUR sweat on today? 
Cause I did!

Okay...

So it's been 20 days since the new year. 
I hurt my back (which explains the lack of gym time) 
I'm a vegetarian now...on my way to being vegan...and hopefully going raw. 
It's definitely helped my digestion. 
If you don't know already, I pretty much can't keep Cheese or anything fatty down. 
Nothing fried, heavily oiled, etc...or it'll just come out in many forms. 
Sucks, but I guess it's good because it makes me not want to eat that stuff. 
(But sometimes I still do). But i've been good at it this year. 
I've only broke once, eating chicken after the BFOR show because that's pretty much all they had. 
OH WELL! life happens right? we can't be perfect :) 
Anyway...Got my 2 hours in the gym today, and boy did it feel good. 
Eating pretty cleanly has gotten my energy back up, and I was able to complete a pretty good workout, and for not working out in more than a month, i'm proud. 
I'm going to take this day by day. 
I just want to feel and get my health back up. 
I'm 24 going on 25 and yet I have aches and pains that a 60+ year old would feel. 
My back hurts. 
My feet hurt. 
My knees hurt. 
My hands and joints hurt. 
Like seriously...WTF! I'm suppose to be at the prime of my life and I'm throwing it all away. 
A lot has to do with just being lazy and enjoying great tasting food to much. 
I mean, healthy food can taste good too. but we just don't get the same brain stimulation and dopamine affect like JUNK food gives. 
So, I'm going to start slow and work my way up. 
Funny how I don't really miss the chicken or the beef, I'll eat fish every now and then, but I'm not really a fish guy, so it's not too big of an issue. 
I'm proud of myself for making this change. 
Driving to the gym today, I was thinking to myself...
My body is the TEMPLE OF GOD. would he treat his body like i treat mine? 
NO he wouldn't. He would cherish it and make it function to the best of its ability. 
And that is my goal in 2010. 
I'm excited, but not setting high standards to begin with. 
I've let myself down too much in the past, that little steps towards a big goal is the plan. 
Join me in my journey this year...
