Thank you! I Love You all! :)

Where do I even begin?

First and foremost I would like to thank my Lord, Jesus Christ for the blessings he has given my family and I.
I am so grateful and thankful that he has sparred my life and has given me the opportunity to live & serve Him.
When your life flashes before your eyes and you realize how short it can be, it brings forth the realization of how important everything is.
How much God watches over you, even when we don't deserve it, he continues to guide us and never gives up on us.

Second, I want to thank all of you for all the prayers and for the LOVE you continued to offer my family and I! We appreciate all of them and are so thankful each and everyday for you :)

So many of you were left wondering, what in the world happened?
The past 2 days have been by far the best days, so w/ my first day back online, I will update you all on my condition.

What happened that day:
So this day was a typical day. Studying for school, and I was just going to the gym to get my exercise in.
Before I left my house, I drank some "Herbal Tea" that was suppose to be a "Cleansing" tea since I was on a fruit/vegetable cleanse for the week.
This was the same tea that caused my dad to have a bit of an "upset" stomach a few days prior but I never thought it would have the same effect on me.
As I was at the gym, I did a warm up on the stationary bike, which I usually do for 30-45 minutes. I was only able to get on for about 25+ and started to feel dizzy and had an upset stomach.
I felt the need to just go to the restroom and just rest. As I got to the locker room i felt dizzy and faint. I finally went to one of the stalls but I don't remember anything from this point on.
I passed out and eventually hit my head somewhere. I do remember someone asking me briefly if I was okay, I became conscious for a while, but black out again for who knows how long?
About 30-45 minutes later, I was awake, dizzy, and sitting next to my locker trying to figure out my combination.
I guess I blanked out enough that I wasn't able to remember the combination, so one of the workers at the gym,  had to cut it off for me.
5 minutes later I gathered my stuff, walked out of the gym, went to my car and DROVE HOME!
Looking back at this, this has to be the scariest part of this situation.
I don't really remember driving home, and something worse could have definitely happened. An accident. A seizure. or anything more life threatening.
*sigh* Finally, I was able to go home and was greeted by my mom who was concerned because she said I was very pale and looked horrible.
I fell asleep for about an hour, and was woken up by an pain, an immense dizzy spell and nausea that I will never forget.
My mom said that we needed to go to the ER, but me being stubborn, I declined saying I was okay and just tired.
A few minutes later, I began to projectile vomit and finally stopped being stubborn and went to the ER.

After more vomiting and pain in my head, I was able to get an XRay/Scan of my head.
They found some pretty heavy bruising and bleeding in 3 spots of my brain and I was transfered to the ICU because of the need to maybe drill a hole in my head to drain some fluid to relieve some of the pressure.
About 6 hours later, another scan was done, and they discovered that the bleeding and bruising had subsided and that I just needed to be closely monitored for a few days.
To make this long story short, I was in the hospital for 5 days and was finally discharged home.
I was happy to finally be home, but the excruciating pain, nausea, and fatigue was by far the worst experience in my life, but I was just thankful to be alive and well.
Finally after a hectic 2 weeks, things are starting to slowly get better. I am able to walk around a bit (with help), eat a little more, and the pain and nausea is managed.

My family & friends
I don't even know how and where to begin to thank my family and friends.
I am the luckiest person alive. To have the most loving Dad and Mom that I have, the brother, and girlfriend who haven't left my side.
The things they went through, just to make sure I was okay, reminded me that I am the luckiest and most blessed person.
God has just given me the best support system and the most loving family that anybody could ever ask for.
So to my Mom, Dad, Kuya, and Jenny I LOVE you all and am so thankful for everything you have done!!! :)
Also, to all my Cousins and relatives, Close Friends  and anyone else who visited me in the hospital who stayed the nights; Josh, Ken, Jordan, Justin, JonJon, Roxane, Ruby, etc...I can keep naming everyone but I would be here forever!! :)
To all my high school and college friends, facebook and twitter family and everyone else, I appreciate your LOVE, THOUGHTS and PRAYERS!!
I am the most blessed person and I will never forget you all who stayed w/ me.

So thank you. I LOVE YOU.
May the Lord bless each and everyone of you always.
Continue to pray through the good and the bad.
He will never leave us or forsake us. Make Him the center of your life and remember that we are nothing w/out Him!
Thank you again and I will keep you all posted on any news I receive.
*HUGS* to all :)

Always,
Russy
